1/4/07 If the person giving the baby shower can find my address to send an invatation in the first place, then the reciepient can find it to thank me. When I care enough to buy a nice shower gift, spend money to make it pretty, and enclose a card, the least one can do is take time to find my address to write a thank you note. This is what is called having manners. Wonder what Emily Post would say?

Welcome to The du Jour.
That is the right thing to do. Some (few) come by it naturally. Others needed exposure from a parent who made it a habit or from friends that do it.  |
