This old house I live in seems to have an unlimited supply of house flies even when it was thirty below. I think I would like one of those bug zapper things but I don't know if they work. Does anyone know if they are any good and which work the best?

We have one, not sure of the brand, but it uses the bait as well as the light. They work VERY WELL as long as the bait is kept fresh and the lights are kept clean. The bait blockes usually last about 3 months.
Another hint about keeping flys away that I have done and it works. Take a ziplock bag and fill it a little less than half full with water and hang it over the door. Flies will not go past it. Trust me it works! |

The fly traps you hang around work great too.
Gets alittle ugly sometimes but it is sticky and the flys attach right to it ! Good luck  |

I've never seen one with bait blocks. I'm off doing a google search about those.
Donna for some reason those sticky fly strips are hard to find around here. |

Deb........ If you can leave the animals outside for 6hr you could 'bomb' the house with those flea bombs. I know when I used to do that it killed all those little critters ! But I put one can in each and every room ! Good luck but by now you probably have it all under control........hehehehe
